529 Entropy

 

People ask me how Detroit was... and this is the image that comes to mind. The city itself is a ghost town, with far more abandoned or uninhabitable buildings than thriving ones. It literally looks like it's been bombed. This was taken somewhere around here, as we drove through the city looking for a glimmer of hope in the darkness. It wasn't a unique case by a long shot- we pretty much just stopped at a random building. They mostly look like this. I didn't take many other pictures because it felt exceedingly dangerous, but here's one of the abandoned Michigan Central Station.
