Another of the lovely SinnerSaint ladies... not as pleased with this picture as I was with this one, but it's the best of the few I got. Bad tinycam! Evilyn is my favorite dancer and this is one of my favorite acts of hers, so I wanted to catch it before the theme changes and she puts that gorgeous peacock costume on the rack. Next time I may try to bring Julio instead.

...concert tonight with J and former-Appys. It was a fantastic show and I took a ton of pictures, so I had a hard time picking one for today's post. Tinycam performed well as can be expected considering it spent half the night dunked in my drink. Waterproof cameras are win! Here are a few of the other shots I took.

J was kind enough to let me jump out of the car as we drove by this massive spotlight... I had no idea they were powered by ACTUAL FLAME like a torch. Amazing and gorgeous.

Walking back from Get Loweded, the boys and I spotted this happy little scene. I used it to practice some of the photoshop techniques R taught me while he was here. Take a careful look at this photo and then look at the original. What do you think? Better? Convincing?

509 Egg Nebula

 

R was making a key lime pie (and a banoffee pie, but these were for the key lime) and had some left over egg whites in a blue glass cup. I stopped sticking my camera into the pan with the melting butter and sugar to be fascinated. The rest of the day's shenanigans - bbq, games and a massive water fight - weren't too shabby either.

These are also beans in the garden, like in 505, but this was taken in the evening with Julio + macro lens + flash. The difference in quality is discernible, but doesn't actually look too bad especially at this size.

503 Tiny Cam's Debut

 

My new teenty tiny pokecamera arrived today! It's a Fujifilm Z33 WP, where the wp stands for waterproof. I don't expect this little guy to be able to do the things Julio does, but I'll be able to sneak it into places and not be too worried about it getting wounded in action. Welcome, little green cam! This was one of the first test pictures I took, which means it's pretty crappy, but I still <3 the camera.

A bunch of us went to see Star Trek (which was awesome) and then for burritos and margaritas at Mama's. D approved the posting of this picture... which I love. T is usually less blurry.

I was fiddling around with this guy's camera in R's office today... and it happened to be the only pictures I took all day because I was lame. I didn't set anything properly, which is why it's slightly blurry and WAY too high ISO. Oh well...

R and I walked over to the sculpture park during lunch and he found a piece of kelp on the rocks. I fiddled with his camera while he poked at the kelp, and this was the result. My hair is awesome.
