For my birthday, The Boy whisked me away to San Francisco for a short holiday. I thought I'd post a few of the hundreds of pictures I took...

M and I took mom to Snoqualmie Falls, where they sell honey like this. We also went to Roslyn, WA, home of Northern Exposure. Very surreal and fun.

R'gar and I took a much-needed day off work and drove into the country with our cameras. A few miles short of Diablo, WA, this plot of land caught my eye. Decaying old car, collapsed house and then... friendly cows!

I clearly didn't take this, but it's my favorite photo of the day.

Our mascot, full to bursting with flyers. We gave out something like 5,000 of them pointing people at The Game's free trial page.

Set up day! Our booth was next to CCP's. We <3 them (especially since they didn't blow us up or steal our stuff!)

You can't tell, but this is actually the poop deck, disassembled and covered in rain-proof plastic. The cannons are in the shed. R'gar is very proud (and delirious).

The crest for the back of the poop-deck. That stencil was a bitch to cut out. We intended to spray paint it, but in the end we went for a paint pen because the stencil was too fragile and wouldn't sit flat. R'gar and I stayed up way too late to get all of this done.

This is the poop deck on the second weekend of construction. The mission: build a modular poop deck that can be constructed in less than 30 minutes with no tools. It also needs to support t-shirt cannons and people.

I cleaned out the fridge. Wish I'd done it sooner, but the resulting mess was at least... colorful.

My intention was to pick more plums, but instead I met this spider who made his webby home in the plum tree. He was actually really tiny, contrary to how it seems here. Marlowe got jealous and climbed the tree to shake the branch so I couldn't get many in-focus shots :-P
