250 Nerds
PAX, day three. Spent some time in the table top/board game freeplay area, where we saw this very appropriate shrine.

248 Peek
I spent all day in bed recovering from a bad reaction to some perscription meds. By the end of the day I felt well enough to dye over the paint and roots in my hair. This is about all the creative energy I had for the day.

247 Meet-up
Jamie from Turbine tells a funny story to some of the best people evar. At the Tiki Lounge downtown.

242 Who Packed the Camera?
No one, really... but I didn't take any pictures. Today was moving day and it was terrible.

241 Transplanted
I love that this is Seattle's version of a mall foodcourt: sushi and bubble tea. I grabbed some sushi from that bar there at Westlake while I killed time before my doctor's appointment.

238 Craneland
Cranes here, cranes there, cranes everywhere! This view is from the bus stop at 5th and Denny and also includes the monorail track (and a plane, which is a much better way to travel).

237 Jury of My Pir
P is visiting! This is him showing off his camera and his fancy drink at that italian restaurant on 2nd that I can never remember the name of. Clearly, this was a low-light setting, so it had to turn out grainier than wheatbread.

236 Manhattan Mist & Chianti
I dunno why, but I like the Rothko-like look of this picture. This is the first coat of paint in our new living room.

234 Opa!
After talking about it earlier in the week, J and I had to go out for some saganaki tonight. I had about 2 seconds warning for this pic (most of which was used up by me avoiding singed eyebrows) so no time to fiddle with settings or even focus really. Still, I like how it turned out.

233 You Say Tomato
THIS IS IN OUR GARDEN. Yesterday C brought us up a bowl full of ripe cherry tomatoes and raspberries. They're gone now (yum!) but these and others remain. It turns out we have zuccini, squash and a bunch of other goodies. Possibly even beets and broccoli.

232 Trees Will Eat You
I thought I missed taking a picture today... but as it turns out, I did snap one (crappy as it may be). J and I were on the bus home when we saw this angry, scary tree. I took the picture through the bus window.

231 Sushi Happy Hour
Seriously. A dollar off all rolls at Sushi Kyo from 5-7pm, which is right around the time we leave work on good days. Nom nom nom!

230 Shades of "Ancient Pewter"
J and D spent the evening washing walls in preparation for painting while I papered the inside of kitchen cabinets. We still havent decided what colors we're going to use, but not for lack of color choices. This picture brought to you by Picasa's fun focal black and white filter.

229 Let There Be Light
Another day, another trip to the Depot and more scraping, scrubbing and fixing. Justin installed this lovely thing to replace the World's Ugliest Chandelier. Also note the popcorn cieling, which will be gone Real Soon Now.

228 New View
The rain didn't care that we had loads of stuff to cart home from Home Depot (in addition to the dog and ourselves). It was worth it though, because when we got home, this was in our back yard. I didn't find a pot of gold, but if I had, I'd use it to hire professionals to remodel our house.

227 Serious About Safety
So glamorous! Friday night is good for sanding doorframes... especially when you're convinced to go out for real after you've been sanding doorframes for a few hours. I bet I was the only one at the bar covered in a fine white dust.

226 Ladies Sold Here
Through the window of Ross near the bus stop downtown. I decided to just walk back up from Belltown funtimes with G, T and various others.

225 Guys for Obama
I snapped this picture on the way to dinner at Elysian with A. These guys are always so friendly... and it's nice to know we have similar political views.

224 Our House
See those keys? Ours. That door? Ours. There's a ton of work to be done before we can even move in, but it's OURS.

223 Closed
It didn't really feel appropriate to snap pictures while the scary lady was demanding my signature/initials on one million forms... but when she left for a second, this is the one I got. The boy and I now own a house. Weird.

222 He's Got a Big Rat Face
Edison went to the vet this weekend. He's got a cold, but now he's got medicine that smells like candy, so he's going to get better. He also gets extra scritches and tasty veggies. (Faraday also wanted to show off his pretzel.)

221 Macaroni
Went to a bbq/party at a coworker's house in West Seattle. Of course, there was a pirate hat laying around, as you do. I like this picture because it a) does not contain drunk and/or sleeping people and b) is far less grainy than most other pictures I've taken since I got this new camera. Sweet.

220 My Kind of Cake
A cake this pretty is too pretty to eat (especially because it was the densest chocolate cheesecake ever). I took this (*&%%^ing grainy) picture at A's house, where she was hosting a reunion of sorts with some very smart folks I don't see nearly enough.
