157 Ultrasonic!
Went to Harborview today so a nice lady could ultrasound my kidneys. She also hit up the rest of my abdomen, for quite an informative anatomy lesson. I had no idea :-)

155 Dress
I'm still sick. It hurts to wear pants, so I'm wearing the cute casual dress I got a few weeks ago. It's mostly stripey, but has this detail at the bottom that I like a lot. That's also my leg, there.

149 Tighten Up Those Graphics on Level 3
This is what it's like to work at a game company. B here wasnt really sleeping and this photo was very much staged for the "Men of ___" calendar the PR girl thought to put together... still, it's pretty close to real life.

147 Bag Lady (or) Bagga Blog
This, the inside of my bag, is surprisingly representative of my life. Keen observers will note a sliver of my business cards peeking out of the front pocket!

146 Fire Drill
...not a drill exactly, but a false alarm nonetheless. These are some of my illustrious coworkers, hangin' out with the firemen.

144 Street Fare
The U-district street fair was today, so R and S and I went down there in the super hot heat. I didn't take many pictures and I promised not to post a third one of my guests, so this is the one you get.

143 A Gaggle
I just can't get enough of these beautiful ladies! S and R are choosing their indian food here... before we went out on the town for the evening. As if I didn't know it already, it is totally wonderful that portland is close enough that I get to hang out with these two regularly :-)

142 A Forbidden Love
The lovely R and sister S are here to visit for the weekend and the roo is madly in love. In this pic roo and R are having a tender moment, despite the house "no face kissing" policy.

141 Cock.
Why is this cock hanging out in the rafters of a restaurant called the Fish Club? It's in the same building as the ION conference, so it's where I had dinner with some folks tonight.

140 Horribly Pear-Shaped
Here's me before the Speakeasy thing tonight, before the night went horribly pear-shaped. Self portraits are tough, but I'm pretty happy with this one. I can't be arsed to force it into my 5x7 thing :-p

139 Sangribimbo
A and I went to Bimbo's again tonight where I got a whole carafe of sangria just for me... though I shared it a little. I was trying to take a picture of the wine-soaked oranges and A sneaked in, which improved the picture immensely. I'm not pleased with the pic at this orientation, so here's the original even though it doesn't fit with my format.

138 Yard Waste
It's shocking how often these end up in my kitchen. This is, sadly, the only picture I took today. I blame geekday.

137 But I Only Have Two
Took this at the Six Arms. Crazy lights and railings/sculptures made of pipes. I wish the picture had turned out better than this...

136 Anise Waffle
A bunch of people went to Boom for A's birthday... and they brought him this fancy "fusion" dessert, which was basically a tasty anise flavored waffle with fermented soy beans, a scoop of ice cream and some mint. It was very tasty... and so is the phrase "anise waffle."

134 Broken Beyond Repair
It's hard to take a picture of the tumult and drama that happened to me at the job today... and I'm still working because of it (at roughly midnight). Instead, I'm posting picture of the window in our living room that we randomly noticed was broken last week. No one knows how it happened... and we're not excited about the conversation we have to have with our property manager. I can't wait to move... still, this picture turned out neat.

133 Hy-strange-a
Snapped this in the park while walking home tonight. I was a little bored with my "oh look, plants" pictures, so I thought I'd experiment a little...

132 Munchings and Lunchings
This is a pretty typical lunch at The Job. This group of jokers are mostly programmers, with a few QA folks mixed in. I'm both the only girl and the only vegetarian... but I hold my own well enough. I love these guys and this stupid boat-shaped table. I'm glad I was able to capture the post-joke expressions on people's faces, as well as the soup-shi lunch we eat so often.

131 Ghost Dog
I took my camera with me on a walk with the roo tonight. We sat on a bench for a little while, which gave me a place to set the camera down for a longer exposure. He was sitting nicely just before I took the picture, but in true distractable roo style, he turned his head at the crucial moment. I kinda love the result.

130 Genetically Perfect Predator
Sometimes, you just need to go to Safeway at midnight to get jalapeño poppers and ice cream. Sometimes you do this in the company of a pack of velociraptors.

129 Toshiro's Folly
Turns out the only picture I took today wasn't meant to be posted at all... It was this drink list from Broadway Grill that I intended to show to one of our fans (who'd be pleased to know there's a drink with his name on it). Unfortunately, I put my camera away then and left it away, so this is the pic of the day.

128 Land of Plenty
I had a quiet night at home tonight... and I also went to the store to buy some cereal and milk. I love going to the grocery store kinda late so there aren't tons of people there. I also like it because everything gets restocked at night and the displays are like this picture. Everytime I see produce like this I remember how fortunate Americans are. All the variety! The color! It amazes me. I also want to eat it.
