006 Year of the Rat

I took 116 pictures tonight, many of which were really good. I posted this one because it's what i look forward to on NYE all year long. I <3 fireworks... even when they go all Charley Brown. We had a party full of good friends and fun... and fireworks! So what if this post is not posted until 5:30am... that's the sign of a good night. (Funny enough, the morning radio news show for Tuesday is already on. This is how I know it's time to sleep.)

005 Desktop

This is my desk. I made some magnets today, which is what those little round things are and why there's glue in the foreground. The rest of the stuff is what can be found on my desk most days: gum, cloves, leather conditioner, coffee cup, necklaces, stickers, Vicks, business cards, DS game case, Sculpey, lotion, ECA pad of paper, etc etc.

004 Duvet

I drank too much last night hanging out with J and N. Consequently, this is how I spent the majority of the day. About 5:00pm I decided I had better roll over take my photo of the day, even if it was this dull. I'm feeling much better now, thankfully. Dinner at Red Robin (where I went for the first time ever) with F and C was just what I needed. Now it's time to go pick D up from the airport.

003 I got the Remedy

After yesterday's post, I joked about how this project is in danger of becoming "pictures of my favorite places to drink hot beverages." This one is at Remedy Teas, where J and I met up with C and E tonight. The tea on the right there is mine - #81 Purple Indoo. Remedy's aesthetic and good design sense always makes me happy, especially this part, which was almost today's photo of the day. (Is it cheating to link to another picture here? I don't care.)

002 Diablo made me do it

Coffeetrain and its passengers stop at Diablo everyday, sometimes twice. Today was rainy and cold and dreary, but my spirits are high, so I chose this warm picture instead an outdoor one. Also, A made me imagine a world without coffeeshops, which would be truly dreary. The menu back there says "EAT" and "INDULGE," both of which I have done way too much of lately.

001 Support Parrotcy

Back at work after christmas. We got parrots. He mocked me as I fiddled with EVE and WoW and read articles about chat systems and cabals.
